Tracey Avery works with teams and groups of people who are looking to empower themselves to take a more attentive role in their cultural project or personal development. ​

Biography


Tracey’s fascination with how we see and appreciate our material and natural worlds has led her through a varied career in the cultural, design and heritage sectors in England and Australia.

Tracey’s well-honed skills of observation, focus and curiosity are central to her practices. ​Tracey has held curatorial and management roles in cultural and conservation organisations in the UK and Australia, and senior executive roles leading heritage in state governments. She has tertiary qualifications across science (zoology and psychology), art gallery and museum studies, and a doctorate in design history. She is an alumnus of the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership program, and is a graduate of the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is a current Panel Member of the Victorian Design Review Panel within the Victorian Office of the Government Architect. ​

She is a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, studying with the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness (ACMM) where she specialised in practices for nature connection, corporate and workplaces, and parents and children. Tracey holds memberships of the Meditation Association of Australia, and the International Institute of Complimentary Therapists.
